BTW from the latest pics it seems that the steel frame overhanging reactor #4 building is more or less completed. That is good news as it at least will prevent the building from keeling over (what was a fear at one point).
Then I'm trying to get my head around "a mishandled rod may go critical". Surely they mean a fuel-rod assembly, and even then...
"...during the extraction and casking". Hmm, Bob do you know if they will be using dry casks at the lower end? Makes sense as none of the assemblies is now younger than one year.

Sorry, I don't know what their plans are. But you're right, fuel assemblies would be more accurate.
