Nope - Coyne Was Right

Here are a couple of Christian apologists who criticize biologist Jerry Coyne for pointing out that science and religion are not compatable.  Their arguments are sloppy because they are religidiots.  Let's take this:

"Scientific progress depended on a metaphysical system that explained why nature follows orderly laws that nonetheless need not correspond to our rational intuitions. The Christian belief in a Deity who freely created a universe in which moral creatures could exercise choices was just right for the job."

1.  Humans don't exercise choices. Our brains draw conclusions based on our DNA (which determines how our brains and sensory organs perform) and our environment (what your mother fed you and taught you for instance).  We have no control over our DNA nor environment and thus we don't exercise choices.  There is no free will.

2.  What makes us "moral"?

3.  Why one Deity?  Why not numerous ones?

4.  How does one know the deities freely created the universe?  Maybe they were forced to?

5.  Nature does follow orderly laws on the macro-level.  But not in quantum mechanics.  Explain that.

Religion is what prompts religidiots to make stupid arguments, because they have an emotional need for deity.
